Ansible is professional configuration management automation that works for single hosts and for whole clusters. All in Python and Yaml. In the past I used Makefiles but find this more modern and scalable.
Sol Fleet Sci-Fi game world
An optimistic science-fiction, solarpunk vision that we can look forward to building.
Earth and the solar system are set 100 years into the future, where space colonization in our solar system is normal, but warp drive technologoy doesn't exist yet. Earth, Mars and the Belt co-exist thanks to the Sol Fleet that binds them diplomatically, culturally, and through its education efforts. The similarity to Star Trek is not coincidence.

As part of a team from diverse Red Hat organisations, SAP and IBM we integrated our Kubernetes Platforms, Gardener and Openshift around the emerging technology of Kubevirt (Kubernetes VM management).
- Understand Design Decisions in SAP’s Gardener to propose meaningful interfaces between both platforms.
- Represent Red Hat’s Walldorf team in the interdisciplinary project team and align plans and resources with other organisations within Red Hat.
- Represent the integration project’s status in global, internal engineering calls.
- Participate in program planning and software architecture discussions with SAP and IBM.
- Establish a Kanban based, agile work mode in cooperation with Program and Product Management teams.
- Side activity: Create and moderate work groups in Red Hat’s Walldorf team to improve the team spirit, get non-urgent-but-important work done with joy, and integrate team members who only joined after work-from-home was established.

The SAP DataHub team was a global effort at developing the first Kubernetes based software for SAP, building on top of distributed database technology, machine learning and data warehousing systems.
- Lead Integration of SAP DataHub with Red Hat’s Openshift.
- Establish processes for continuous integration.
- Define and hire for technical and organisational roles to execute the integration process.
- Participate in tooling development and integration testing activities around SAP DataHub.
- Participate in Partner Management activities between SAP and Red Hat.
